Please review the list of names below. These are the names of the members we will bulk register, assuming California Registration fees have been paid. I'm waiting for Kevin Miller to send me an updated roster of members that are paid as of yesterday. We will add those that pay today to the list and then sent the list to USA Rugby. Please note that if you are the parent of a U-10, U 12, and U 14 member and have not yet paid, the high school will be practicing today, 7:30 at Cabernet. Feel free to drop off the check and your child will be included in the bulk registration which will be sent tomorrow.
1/10/10 All age levels will be practicing at Harvest Park Middle School in pleasanton from 1:00 to 2:30. See map for details. We'll be on the soccer field. You're also invited to play touch rugby at 10:00. Please check this webiste, email, or facebook for field conditions/ field closures prior to leaving. No news means the practice is on.
1/11/10: The high school team will practice at Cabernet from 7:30-9:30 at Cabernet. No middle school practice.
1/13/09: Middle school practice from 4:30-6:00 at Cabernet. High school practice from 5:45-7:30.
Here is some information for you. The following list are the names of players that are all ready registered with USA rugby for this year and need to do nothing with regards to registration:
I wanted to thank all of you who were able to make the practice. It is very rewarding to see so many kids. I hope all had a great time. We would like to have a practice this Sunday, from 1:00-2:30 so we can adequately prepare for our first scrimmage against Danville Rugby the following Saturday. All players are encouraged to attend but we understand if you can not attend; family and church come first. Expect an email confirming the Sunday practice by Friday afternoon.
Additionally all members are invited to attend our weekly touch rugby event which occurs on Sunday at 10:00.
Planning for next week's practices: Monday we will have a practice. We anticipate a 5:30 practice (5:30-7:00) for the U10, 12, and 14 groups, and 6:00-8 for the high school. Until we can reslove the issues with Cabernet, this is a tentative practice. We anticpate confirming the time and location by this coming Friday. We will again be Cabernet on Wednesday from 4:30- to 6:00 for the U10, 12, and 14 groups and from 5;30- 7:30 for the high school groups.
I would also like to have a parent meeting next Wednesday to discuss our season and answer any questions you might have. I was thinking of having the meeting @ 6:30. We'll meet in the conference room where we processed the paperwork that was turned in today.
Wanted to communicate upcoming events so you can plan accordingly. First. Due to scheduling issues beond our control we've had to move the practice for tomorrow from 5:30 to 4:30. High school students will begin practice at 5:30. For more details on the reasoning behind the change please see the aonnouncement posted yesterday, 1/4/10.
Next week, January 16th, we will have a scrmmage against Danville for our U10, U12, U14 and less expereienced high school players. Game times will be posted later butthe practice times will be in the morning to mid-afternoon time frame.
January 17th is manadatory training for all Juniors and Seniors. The training will be at Treasure Island and will be hosted by the SanFransisco Golden Gate Rugby Club. Plan on about 4 hours. More details will be announced tomorrow at practice.
On January 30th all age groups will be competing in The Sacramento Kick-off Tournement. Here's a link to the tournement: www.kickofftournament.com. The competition will begin early and it will run all day.
The high school schedule has been set and we will post as soon as we finalize the preseason schedule. The U14 schedule will be set tomorrow and the U12 and U 10 schedule will be set next week. All schedules will be realeased as soon as they are ready.
